Once upon a time there was a girl named Chelsea who loved to read books. So when she grew up she decided to work in a library. She worked as a reference librarian, a circulation desk supervisor, and a special collections stacks manager. But mostly she just liked to read books.

But then she met a guy who liked math. This was new and exciting. So she married him and he took her away with him to the East coast. Little did she know that when you spend time with someone who likes math things tend to multiply.

Now the girl who loved books had a bunch of babies, so she took them to the library almost every week where they learned to love books, too. As they grew the girl decided they were pretty funny kids, so she started to write books about them.

Chelsea Dyreng is now the author of two published novels and the co-author of five kids. She lives in North Carolina with her family and is currently working on her third novel.
